NoteBook — Privacy Policy

NoteBook (“the app”) is a personal note-taking app. Your privacy matters, and the app is built so that your notes stay yours. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

The short version

• NoteBook does not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
• Your notes are stored on your device, and — if you choose — synced through your own iCloud account. The developer has no servers and cannot see your notes.

What the app stores

Your notes and books. The content you create (book titles, pages, text, drawings, images, PDFs and other files you add, reminders, and links) is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, this content syncs across your own devices through Apple’s iCloud. It is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy, and is not transmitted to or accessible by the developer.

Sign in with Apple (optional). Using the app does not require an account — you can choose “Continue without an account.” If you choose to sign in, the app uses Apple’s Sign in with Apple solely to identify you for iCloud syncing. Your name and email (as provided by Apple) are stored only on your device. This information is not sent to the developer and is not used for marketing.

What the app does not do

• It does not collect usage analytics or device identifiers.
• It does not include advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
• It does not sell or share your information with anyone.

Deleting your information

• Delete your account: In the app, open the Account panel and choose Delete Account. This removes the Sign in with Apple identity (name and email) stored on your device and signs you out.
• Delete your notes: Delete individual books or pages from the shelf at any time. To remove synced copies, delete them on a device signed in to your iCloud.
• Remove app access: You can also revoke Sign in with Apple under iOS/macOS Settings ▸ your Apple Account ▸ Sign in with Apple.

Children’s privacy

NoteBook is rated for ages 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data, no special data handling applies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised and the new version posted at the same URL.
